How to play John Hunter and the Tomb of the Scarab Queen!

This is a step-by-step guide on how to play the board game John Hunter and the Tomb of the Scarab Queen. The game can be played with two to four players, and takes about two hours to complete.

To begin, each player chooses a color and takes the pieces of that color. The green player starts first.

The green player moves their token into the first chamber on their left, and draws a card from the adventure deck. They must then follow the instructions on the card. This could involve moving their token to another chamber, drawing another card, or rolling a die to see what happens.

If they are instructed to move their token to a different chamber, they do so and draw another card. If they are instructed to draw another card, they do so and follow the instructions on that card. If they are instructed to roll a die, they roll the die and follow the instructions on the resulting card.

If the green player is unable to complete the instructions on any of their cards, they must "lose a turn" and cannot take any further actions this turn. They then hand over the turn to the next player in clockwise order.

When it is not a player's turn, they can either: (1) look at one of their cards; (2) try to solve one of the puzzles in chambers 1-4; or (3) trade one of their cards with another player for one of their cards.

To look at one of your cards, you must announce which card it is and put it face down in front of you. Once all players have looked at all of their cards, shuffle them together and put them back into the deck. To try to solve one of the puzzles in chambers 1-4, you must announce which puzzle you are trying to solve and put your token in front of that chamber. You can only try to solve one puzzle at a time. If you solve the puzzle, take your token out of that chamber and put it in front of chamber 5. If you cannot solve the puzzle after three attempts, give up and put your token in front of chamber 5. To trade cards with another player, both players must agree to trade cards and then specify which cards are being traded. After trading cards, shuffle them together and put them back into the deck.

So Blue moves forward 2 spaces (avoiding traps), draws another card & follows instructions
